SPRING 2011 TREND REPORT - BRIGHT COLORS

SPRING 2011 TREND REPORT - BRIGHT COLORS: "
On the bright side, after a long and dark winter, spring is finally here, and according to the runway, that means bright colors. This Spring's trends are not only memorable, but noticeable. Bright pops of color - blues, greens, purples, yellows, and oranges - made their way boldly down the runway in shows like Jil Sander, Nina Ricci, Burberry Prorsum, and celebrity favorite this season, Gucci, to name a few.

The bold colors were embraced by the likes of Olivia Wilde, Kate Bosworth, Emma Stone, and Blake Lively.

From shockingly bright oranges to electric pinks to bold yellows, it is easy to add these spring runway colors to your wardrobe. Try a full-on look with vivid dresses, tops, and bottoms, or opt for just a pop of bold color by adding vibrant bags, bold accessories, and bright shoes to a neutral or black look.

We are totally excited to incorporate vibrant colors into our wardrobes. We picked out some of our favorite spring pieces:

1. Miu Miu Slim Neon Belt
Still want to take part in the fun, but play it safe? Add this neon belt to a black or nude look.

2. Balenciaga Giant City Tote
Add this arm candy to a full-on trend look or keep it simple like Lo Bosworth.

3. Jil Sander High Waist Maxi Skirt
Juxtapose this bright orange maxi skirt against a blank canvas by pairing it with a simple white tee.

4. Roland Mouret Helena Dress
Borrow from the Gucci runway and combine this turquoise dress with purple pumps, like the Brian Atwood Felini Peep-Toe Pumps, and a gold accessory, like the Yves Saint Laurent Sac De Jour Clutch.

5. Brian Atwood Maniac Pumps
A favorite among celebs, the Maniac pump from Brian Atwood, shoe designer of the year 2010, is now available in orange, making it perfect to showcase this year's spring trend. Try wearing them with greys and greens, like Amelle Berrabah, or pair them with the Roland Mouret Helena dress above for a bolder look.

So tell us, will you be sporting the Spring 2011 bright color trend? And how?
